Service Learning

We view service learning as an extremely important part of a child’s early education for many reasons. Service learning enables children to connect what they’ve learned in school to real situations, resulting in a better understanding of the lesson. Service learning also leads to improved problem analysis, critical thinking, and cognitive development. The act of helping others enriches a child’s social emotional development, increasing self-esteem and compassion for others. It’s clear to us that service learning is essential, so Creativo! students engage in a number of service learning projects. These projects provide our students with enjoyable ways to gain all the benefits of service learning.
